Today I headed back to Armstrong Woods with Cay, this time with Patrick as well. We did get to see a little more of the park than we did last time, but not all of the park, since some of the upper trails were closed until dangerous leaning and falling trees could be removed and the trails made safe.

Probably the coolest thing for me for this trip was FINALLY seeing banana slugs. Patrick made the first sighting (one was on the trail near the Armstrong Tree) but we soon saw more in that same area around the Armstrong.
