I think I'm doing about twice as much as I remember to blog about these days, or maybe being out and about is becoming more normal, which is a good thing, but after my Western Dog Violet training I took a jaunt around the Redwoods. It was pretty significant for me because I had no cane, no walker. I pretty much walked the whole lower part of the park, which covered about what we do in an average tour. I also got to introduce some people who had never seen a banana slug to the banana slugs in the park.
I also got a few really nice photos on that day, as well as surpassing my 10,000 steps.
there was still a lot of water in the park, and the area below the Forest Theater and the path to backstage was flooded and blocked off. |
