These days have been particularly challenging. One problem is that back in the day, I read all that sci fi. I mean the good stuff, stuff that looked at the social patterns we were developing, decades ago, patterns that are now pretty darn obvious to everyone with half a brain.
It's scary, and I am even more frightened for our collective future.
I think it's especially important now for us to hold on to the things we love, to keep them in our hearts and minds as we remember what it is we need to be fighting for, what it is we stand to lose, and what we need to hold gratitude for having today.
For me a lot of that is the natural world, the cultural diversity of the planet, and the people in my life whom I have the deepest connections to.
I thought I'd share some of that with you in images today. I hope you will all find someplace to do the same: to share what you love, to remind others of what they hold dear, and to share this very human experience and connection.
