It's orientation week at the college Cay is attending, which means events, lectures, and parties. Today Cay is sadly missing community focus (service) day, because she's already scheduled to do volunteer work. But last night, tonight, and over the weekend, it'll be all sorts of activity going on.
Back in Las Cruces, Tay is doing well. Classes have already started, she's been spending more time out with her roomies and less time playing Castleville on her computer, and things seem to be going pretty well, minus the fact that neither girl has been able to afford their books yet.
Tay has identified some issues with her bill, gone to the relevant offices and dealt with the issues herself with very little prompting. I'm proud of her. She's really stepping up to the plate in ways I never expected, given her autism.
